Due to the nature of Japanese cooking, which we are doing our very best to stay true to, there are many allergens contained in this cuisine. Please tell your server if you have any allergens and consult the menu.
Unfortunately soy and miso both contain gluten and are two of the core ingredients used in our menu so we are unable to offer Gluten Free options at this time.
We try to ensure there are a few vegan options on the menu, including a ramen option.
There are a few vegetarian options on the menu but we are doing our best to improve our vegan offering where possible.
Sesame is used in almost all of the dishes on the menu.
Nuts are not featured in the menu at this time, however many products we use are packaged in other counties and ‘may contain nuts’.
We endeavour to use suppliers based in the North, and as local as possible.
We use rice wine vinegar, sake and mirin.
From time to time we use lactose ingredients in our menu, but we have alternative ingredients.

DOG / PET FRIENDLY
Service dogs and well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area prior to 6pm (as it can be busy during Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
As we are quite a small venue, in a very old building, there is no disabled access unfortunately. The toilets are located upstairs.
